Barenco was formed in 1985, and in its formation brought
with it a multitude of experience and technical knowledge.
This is the foundation on which it has developed.
Initially our expertise was in toolmaking and batch production
of precision components for the electronics, telecommunications,
computer and general manufacturing industries for national,
international and multi-national clients.
Early in our development we were commissioned to design and
manufacture a Vandal-Proof Sprinkler Head for fire-extinguishing
in a Custodial Building then under construction. As a result
of this success, we have been commissioned to design, test,
manufacture and supply a wide range of security products.
This has transformed our manufacturing base towards product
design, development and manufacture, together with quality
precision engineering and fabrication in all metals - ferrous
and nonferrous - and plastics. We are developing similar projects
with foreign governments in the construction and maintenance
of custodial buildings.
